Once you have settled in a career of your interest, you need to get career advice to plan your career path. Career advice on right career helps you stick to jobs or chosen career and stick on to a work place so that you learn the work and grow in an organization. Changing careers is not considered to be a right thing for career aspirant. Career advancement includes your career progression and career achievements right from your career initiation.

Your awareness of your beliefs would increase your self esteem and strengthen strong values, which in turn would help you focus and align your goals with organizational goals.
Creating vicinity:It is important to be in the right place at right time with right people to be in the minds of right people. Further being involved in the challenges and assignments that involve top people of the organization increases your vicinity. Companies recognize smart workers, who know to complete their work before time and get involved in different projects than hard workers, who are involved in their work alone.
Set goals and expectations: For any role, organizations set goals; however, smart people set goals personally to enhance their career growth. They believe in going an extra mile in completing their given goals and exceeding expectations by involving in other projects also.
Communication and interpersonal skills:These are considered to be essential for you, if you are involved in career planning and advancement. Involving in a project is a good idea; however, if you are not a good team player or not able to communicate aptly with others in the team or another department, then your involvement may not pay for managing career.
Innovative leader and goal-oriented: Organizations appreciate and encourage innovative people, who think laterally for completing their goals than being conventional. On-time completion of work, no missed deadlines and supportive, flexible and innovative people are the first ones to climb the career ladder swiftly.
Summary: To be promoted in your work place, you need to do career planning, as managing career is a skill and art by itself. Most of us think that career advancement is dependent on the company’s decisions; however, it depends on the individual’s performance and visibility.

Besides career testing, they also provide a variety of resources that will help you develop yourself as a worthy worker in the career that you choose. They give you support systems that will not only help you evolve career goals and then take steps towards realizing those goals, but they will also stay with you through the process giving you moral as well as professional support all along the way.
You have a lot of options when it comes to making a career choice. Most educational centers like universities and community colleges have career development centers that will help you with both your educational goals as well as your career aspirations. Making a career change isn’t an easy decision, but if you have someplace where you can go that will guide you along the way, the trip will be much easier.
There are many options if you choose to go to a career center when you make the choice to switch careers, and educational goals are a large part of that choice. Don’t stop there. Take the advice they have to give and then put it into play. You won’t be sorry – in the long run!
